Good for her! It's always good to keep your options open.

Heck, if she can get a scholarship and her body can take the punishment, I would pursue that for sure. However, if her heart really isn't into it, that is when accidents and injuries occur. Tough decision for her, but that's why they call it life - or something like that. :)

Either way, she sounds like she has a good head on her shoulders (thanks Mom!)and will be fine.

It takes my breath away when I see the pics of her, you know... waaaaay up there!
Well, I think it's very mature and insightful for her to be considering this the way she is. As you said, she knows what her body can stand.
Proud of her.

I keep thinking of a line from the movie Blind Side when Leigh Ann Toumy tells Michael Ore that if he plays for Tennessee, she will go to every game -- but she "will not wear that tacky orange!"
