« The times, they are a-boring | Main | 10 Things you should never say to your teenager »

I keep wishing life would let you have a few dull and boring days. This kind of excitement isn't good for any of you.

Oh good grief. It just goes on and on and on, doesn't it? Daisy beat me to my original comment: I'll bet by this time in your life, you'd just looove to be "bored" once in a while... But since no one seems to be allowing you a nice quiet day, I hope for you all the strength you need to get through each day as it comes.

Sounds like it's the beginning of the end. Like Ilona, I wish for you all the strength you need for the coming months. I'm glad he's going to be in a rehab hospital for a while. Is there any possibility of out-of-home hospice care after that? That's the route a friend took when her husband could no longer care for himself and his presence in the home was too distressing for her kids.

Molly, I agree. It's definitely all downhill from here. I'm hoping for out-of-house hospice, but I need to get the residential component authorized by the insurance company- and that will be the difficult part.

Next week, at the doctor's, I will introduce the topic of hospice. That's NOT going to go over well at all!
