Preparing for final exams is a rite of passage. Studying, writing final papers, finishing those final major projects, building forts.
Building forts? Yes, La Petite and friends regressed to their childhood and built a fort in their apartment living room using (you guessed it) blankets and furniture. Despite having no design or architecture students in the mix, they assembled quite a unique dwelling. Here's the exterior view.
Perspective from sitting inside, looking toward the kitchen
The spacious interior can fit up to five students...
...and of course, a rabbit.
hilarious. and of COURSE there was room for a rabbit.

I'm told the rabbits loved it.

OMG! I want to build a fort now! Are we moms allowed to? And then we could have our bloggy friends over and we could all hide in there....away from the teenagers.
I guess they never really grow up, do they? : )

Aw, that's so cute! Isn't it endearing when they do stuff like this? I always figure that (in an otherwise mature kid), it shows healthy self-image and a nice kind of confidence. Teens who are insecure wouldn't *dream* of "acting like a little kid".

Ilona, I think this is a healthy sign, too. The fact that they had friends over and actually "played" and studied in it? Priceless.
