My kids took care of that stuff on their own. Oldest one's strategy was to have three laundry baskets (the big rubbermaid ones)--one for schools that recruiting her through the athletic dept., one for those who were recruiting her through the admissions office and one for schools that were doing both. She figured she had the best chance with schools that would give her both an academic and an athletic scholarship and she was right. She got a full ride.

Not sure what the younger one's strategy was but the acceptances are rolling in right now so it must have worked.
